Nutella Thumbprint Cookies Recipe
Ingredients and Equipments required
Cookie Dough Method
Preheat the oven at 180˚C (OTG mode: upper rod + lower rod + fan). Line a baking tray with butterpaper or silicon mat.
In a bowl, sift together flour, cocoa powder and salt.
In another bowl using a spatula, cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Now add milk, vanilla essence to it and mix.
Add the sifted flour mix to the creamed butter mix and combine well to form a dough.
Now divide the dough equally into 8 balls, approximately weighing 20 g each.
Place the cookies on a lined baking tray and press the centre with thumb to give its impression.
Bake at 180˚C (OTG mode: upper rod + lower rod + fan) for 10 – 12 minutes.

Nutella Thumbprint Cookies Assembly
Once the cookies cool down a bit, fill the impression with Nutella.
Finish off by brushing the sides of the cookies with Nutella and then sticking roasted chopped hazelnuts.
